It’s no secret that one of the most powerful tools available to make money online is an e-mail list. An e-mail list, or more commonly called a “list”, is basically a group of people that are interested in the product or service that you are promoting. All of the guru’s who make the most money in internet marketing have big, responsive, e-mail lists.

So now that you know how powerful having a list is, you are probably wondering how to acquire a list in the first place. There are many ways to do so, some more effective then others. But not too long ago, I came across a website called Safe-Swaps while on a quest to build my own list, and it is an amazing way to start building your own list at a very low cost (or even at a profit, read below!)

Safe-Swaps is a website dedicated to allowing internet marketers safely e-mail an offer to another’s members list. You might be thinking, “what if I don’t already have a list?”. Fortunately this is not an issue, because Safe-Swaps offers “Solo” ads. A Solo is where you can buy a specified number of clicks from a Safe-Swaps members list. All you have to do is schedule the Solo on your shared calender, and enter what you want the e-mail to say – the rest is pretty much on auto-pilot.

How will Safe-Swaps benefit me?

 
There are several different ways you can go about using Safe-Swaps, but I want to share with you the extremely effective method I have been using and how you can use it too. This is my basic strategy.

I find an offer online that I can collect a commission for sales that I make. Then I go to Safe-Swaps and search for a member who is offering a Solo that I can purchase, and schedule a Safe-Swaps which will mail this offer to their list on a particular date and time. Safe-Swaps is nice because you can search and view whose list is targeted to what audience. By targeting your audience, you will have a much better conversion on the offer you make.

I then either make my own e-mail swipe or I take a template swipe that has already been proven to work. The next thing I do is build a landing page off of a domain that I own, basically it is just a simple squeeze page that asks the visitor to enter their name and e-mail before having access to the special offer. Upon entering their details and clicking submit, the visitor is redirected to the special offer AND I get there e-mail onto my list.

And that’s about it. I put the link to my squeeze page in the e-mail swipe scheduled on Safe-Swaps, and I watch the targeted audience poor into my squeeze page. From there I sit back and watch my e-mail list subscribes explode, typically I get hundreds of subscribers per an hour!

Shortly after the subscribes start pouring in, the commissions begin to flow in just as quickly! Not only is this good for business, but it is incredibly exciting to watch it all happen in real time.

As you can see, not only am I sending an offer to the other members list, but I am also grabbing the e-mails from that members list to add to my own list. Every time I have done this I at least make my money back, and I usually make a profit from doing it – while building my own list at the same time! Not only I am I making sales, but I now have the contact information of prospects and buyers for future offers, that I no longer have to pay for.
